right now because it is just kind of prey, temperatures in the 60's. 67 degrees in oxon hill. as we head into the evening more clouds moving in. this particular area of showers is headed northeast. many people are heading to national park tonight. a few passing showers are possible, but we do not see anything that will rain they came out. the worst possible scenario would be a delay, and i do not even think that is going to happen. anything for the next several hours will be very, very light. starting overnight, that will change. but by then, unless it is a 28 inning game, we should not have a problem. before this cooler weather

>> a mother and father say the death of their 12-year-old daughter has uncovered a major problem in the school system. >> now they want to see every school employees trained in cpr. >> this is certainly an eye opener. right now, the state requires the two staff members in every school in the state be trained to do cpr and use defibrillators. these parents say that is not enough. according to her parents, this 12-year-old victim did not receive cpr for 10 minutes after she collapsed as cool. they say her teacher, who was right there called 911, but did not administer the life-saving technique. if she had, the question, would their daughter be alive today? >> it is a question we have to

live with every day. no one did so how will i ever know? >> if someone had been trained to respond as needed would that have made the difference? >> the victim had a heart valve problem that was checked regularly. she fell to the ground. some classmates ran to get her father who happen to be at school that day for his younger daughters field day. he ran to find his daughter on the ground pale, unresponsive and with out a pulse. >> he said said he arrived and there was no one by his daughter's side. >> responded without thinking. >> he said he administered cpr and got his daughter's calls back. doctors were able prove to revive her and put her on life support. however, damage to her brain

go into effect today in maryland including a lot to prevent a femalepuppy mill dogs end up in pet stores. >> this will not only crackdown on puppy mills, it should help you, the consumer. >> this is what the humane society of the united states calls a puppy mill. nearly 250 dogs in deplorable conditions. by setting new regulations on pet stores, the maryland law hopes to crack down on these puppy mills. >> consumers have a right to know where their puppies are coming from, who is treating their dogs, and if their dogs have any kind of inheritable, genetic illnesses or diseases. wife from now on, a pet store will have to reveal the name and location of the breeder. consumers are allowed to get their money back if the dog gets sick or dies within six months.
